Private hypnosis  ·  One on one

You don’t need to become someone else. You need room to be more fully yourself.

There may be something you’re ready to change. A reaction that keeps showing up. A habit you’ve outgrown. That familiar hesitation between knowing what you want and letting yourself move toward it.

You may understand the pattern. But understanding something isn’t the same as experiencing it differently.

  • Private and one on one
  • Available on Zoom
  • You stay aware and in control

A different starting point

What if you approached yourself with curiosity instead of criticism?

When something isn’t changing, it’s easy to make yourself the problem.

  • “Why do I keep doing this?”
  • “Why can’t I just get over it?”
  • “What’s wrong with me?”

In our work together, we start with a different question:

“What is happening here, and what might I discover if I approach it differently?”

That doesn’t mean accepting a pattern you no longer want. It means making room to understand your experience without turning it into one more reason to judge yourself.

You can want change without declaring war on who you are.

The Authentic Intelligent Method

A different approach to hypnosis

AIM is the way I do hypnosis. It’s calm and direct. We find where the charge is being held, let it settle, and reconnect you with who you were before you learned to protect yourself.

01

Authentic

Our work begins with what’s true for you, not what you think you should say, feel, or want. You don’t have to perform, get the words right, or force yourself into someone else’s idea of success.

02

Intelligent

Instead of treating every difficulty as a flaw to remove, we approach your experience with curiosity. What do you notice? What are you carrying? We let what comes up guide the work rather than assuming we already know the answer.

03

Personal

You’re not a script, a label, or a problem to solve. Each session is a collaboration. Your goals, your responses, and your feedback shape where we go.

The aim is greater choice: in how you relate to yourself, how you respond in familiar situations, and how you move toward what matters.

Where people begin

What would you like to experience differently?

You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly defined goal. “This keeps happening, and I’m ready for something different” is a fine place to start.

  • Speak more freely instead of rehearsing everything you want to say.
  • Take a meaningful step without falling into the same cycle of second-guessing.
  • Understand a recurring habit or reaction in a new way.
  • Feel more comfortable being seen, heard, or taking the lead.
  • Get clear on what you want during a transition.
  • Bring your everyday choices closer to your values.
  • Make space for a part of yourself you’ve been holding back.

What happens in a session

Four parts, shaped around you

Every session is different, but this is the general flow.

  1. We begin with you

We talk about what brings you here, what you’ve noticed, and what you’d like to be different. You don’t have to tell your whole life story or have it all figured out. We find a useful starting point together.

  2. We look past the familiar explanation

We explore the thoughts, expectations, feelings, and meanings connected to your experience. Not to hunt for a predetermined answer, but to notice something you may not have seen before.

  3. We make room for a different experience

Depending on your goals and what we agree on, we may use hypnosis, guided imagery, focused attention, or reflective exercises. The invitation is to explore, not to produce a dramatic breakthrough on demand.

  4. We bring it into everyday life

What did you notice? What’s worth practicing? How might you respond the next time a familiar situation shows up? We look at practical ways to carry the work forward.

You don’t have to force a breakthrough

There is room to be curious. Room to be uncertain. Room to notice what’s actually happening instead of what you think is supposed to happen.

You don’t have to impress me with how deep you go, how much you feel, or how fast something changes. We work with your experience as it unfolds.

About me

I’m AJ Puedan. Many people know me as King Kātō.

I’m a speaker, teacher, and hypnotist, and I’ve been certifying hypnosis practitioners since 2001. My work brings together hypnosis, coaching, and experiential teaching, with a focus on personal exploration that actually reaches your life.

I’m interested in more than giving you an inspiring idea during a session. I want our work to connect with the moments that matter outside it: the conversation you’ve been avoiding, the decision you’re ready to make, or the situation you’d like to meet differently.

The Authentic Intelligent Method is the foundation for that. It’s an invitation to explore yourself with curiosity, take part in your own process, and discover what a more authentic response looks like for you.

Questions

Things people often ask

Will I lose control during hypnosis?

No. You stay aware and in control the whole time. Hypnosis in my work is a focused, relaxed state that you take part in. Nothing is done to you.

Do I need to know exactly what I want to work on?

No. Many people start with “something keeps getting in my way.” We get clear together in the first part of the session.

Can we meet online?

Yes. Private sessions are available on Zoom, so you can work with me from wherever you are.

Is this therapy?

No. Private sessions focus on personal development and coaching. They are not a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy, or mental health treatment. If you are working with a doctor or therapist, you are welcome to let them know about our sessions.

How do I get started?

Book a short call. Tell me what’s going on and what you’d like to be different, and we’ll talk honestly about whether private sessions are the right fit.

Begin with what matters to you

You don’t have to know how to get there. We can begin with where you are.

Book a call and tell me a little about what you’d like to change. From there, we’ll decide together whether private sessions are a good fit.
